Storehouse West Kids Clothes Closet: Dressing Children with Dignity and Care

At Storehouse West, we believe that every child deserves to feel confident and comfortable in the clothes they wear. Our Kids Clothes Closet is dedicated to ensuring that children, from birth through high school, have access to gently used clothing, as well as new underwear and socks. We understand that growing kids can quickly outgrow their clothes, and we’re here to help.

Our Kids Clothes Closet offers a range of essential services to support children and families:

Choice Model

Supplement your school wardrobe and versatile activewear that provides comfort and current style. Parents can “shop” for their children and choose from a wide selection of clothing items, including jeans, leggings, t-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, skirts, dresses, jackets, pajamas, and shoes.

New and Pre-loved Garments in Excellent Condition:

We provide gently used clothing items, ensuring that children have access to a wardrobe that suits their needs.

New Underwear and Socks:

In addition to clothing, we offer new underwear and socks to promote hygiene and comfort.

The distribution closet can be visited every other month.

Children can receive clothing every other month, ensuring that their changing needs are consistently met.

Proper Sizing Assistance:

Our dedicated volunteer staff assists parents and children in finding the right sizes. Children are welcome to try on items to ensure a correct fit.

Dressing Room:

A dressing room is available for children to try on clothing, ensuring a comfortable and proper fit.

Infant and Toddler Sections:

We have a large section dedicated to infants and a variety of clothing options for toddlers. When available, we also offer diapers to support families with young children.

Donations:

Our inventory is made possible through generous donations from local schools, churches, and individuals in the community. These donations enable us to continuously provide clothing to children who need it most.

To access the Kids Clothes Closet, please schedule an appointment by calling 505-892-2077. Appointments are available on:

– Mondays and Fridays: 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
– Wednesdays: 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
